Walking Ohbot

Walking Ohbot is an installation which was displayed as part of the Artist and the Machine exhibition at the Barbican, London on 26 May 2019. Walking Ohbot walks towards human voices and leaves a trail of its path. It uses the head of an Ohbot and an Arrex Yeti walking leg mechanism. Sensory input is through a Respeaker directional microphone and an infra-red distance sensor. It's programmed on a Raspberry Pi in Python.
